Minihauki pelästytti

Kyllä hieman rupes jännittään, kun lähti tärpistä suoraan alas virtaan niin, että kela savusi. Noh pettymys oli suuri, kun siiman päässä olikin pieni hauki eikä toutain.

Hauki oli todennäköisesti ollut juuri uimassa alavirtaan, kun perho tarttui kaverin mahaan kiinni. Itse tärppiä ei valitettavasti kuviin saatu, mutta pyysin emäntää kuvaamaan siinä toivossa jotta toutain siellä olisi ollut.

Mini-pike scared me

It gave me real chills, when the fish stormed downstream straight from the bite so that the reel smoked. Well, it was a big disappointment, when there was only a small pike and not an asp after all.

The pike was most likely swimming downstream when the fly clung to its stomach. We didn’t get the bite itself on the tape, but I asked my girlfriend to film hoping it would be asp at the end of the line.
